Memorial Day is a time to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to help preserve our freedom. Local Marshall County VFW Post 1084 will again hold a Memorial Day Ceremony Monday, May 29th at 11am at the Jerry English Veterans’ Honor Plaza at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville. Gary Smithers, David Green and Leonard Harp joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Smithers invites everyone to attend the ceremony, featuring special speakers and patriotic music.
