McCracken County Men Charged With Drug Trafficking

The McCracken County and The Sheriff’s Office was assisted in this investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and the Paducah Police Department.  has arrested two McCracken County men following a drug investigation on Monday afternoon.

On 04/29/2024 at approximately 2pm drug detectives conducted a traffic stop on a 2019 Ford F150 driven by 34-year-old Robert Miller of McCracken County. Detectives knew that Miller did not have a driver’s license. The truck was stopped on Homewood Avenue in the Farley area of McCracken County. During the roadside investigation, a Sheriff’s Office K-9 alerted to the odor of illegal drugs coming from the truck. During the search of the truck detectives located a safe that was concealed underneath the truck. The safe was found to contain more than 700 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine.  Robert Miller was arrested.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for a residence located at 1200 Old Said Road. During the search warrant service detectives seized small quantities of Methamphetamine, Marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, and money believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales. Detectives arrested 48-year-old James “Eric” Davenport in connection with the drugs from at the residence.

Robert Miller was on felony parole at the time of his arrest for robbery.

Both men were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Charges: No operator’s license and Trafficking in Methamphetamine

 

Arrested: James Eric Davenport 48, of Old Said Road (McCracken County)

Charges: Trafficking in Methamphetamine, possession of Marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia
