Cross drain to be replaced

PADUCAH, Ky. (April 30, 2024)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 3305 in Lyon County on Thursday and Friday, May 2 & 3, 2024.

KY 3305 will be closed at mile point 0.5 to allow a cross drain to be replaced.  This is along KY 3305 between Elkhorn Tavern Road and Jacks Way — about halfway between KY 93 and the I-24 Tunnel.

KY 3305 provides a connection between KY 93 South and the traffic signal at the U.S. 62/U.S. 641 intersection east of Eddyville.

The roadway at this site is expected to close promptly at 7 a.m., CDT, on Thursday, May 2.  KY 3305 is expected to reopen to traffic around noon, on Friday, May 3.

There will be no marked detour.
