Calvert City, KY (April 29, 2024) – On April 26, 2024 the Calvert City Police Department responded to an address on Dogwood Street in reference to an individual having a criminal summons that needed to be served. The summons was requested by Animal Control in reference to multiple dog complaints and non-compliance. Kelsey Dawn Burd, 28, Calvert City was served a Marshall County criminal summons for dogs to be vaccinated against rabies.
On April 26, 2024 the Calvert City Police Department made a traffic stop on a vehicle on US 62 due to the license plate not being illuminated and careless driving. After further investigation the operator was arrested. Vickie J. Jolley, 44, of Fredonia was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine) (x2). She was also charged with operating on a suspended or revoked operators license, rear license plate not illuminated, careless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia (x2), and tampering with physical evidence.
On April 29, 2024 the Calvert City Police Department made contact with a subject who had a warrant at the Cirrito Lane Boat Ramp. Billy Tyler Branham, 21, of Sandy Hook was arrested on a Daviess County warrant for failure to appear.
