Eagles 18 wins, most in over two decades

Wrapping up the regular season on two wins, the CFS Eagles finished 18-11, marking the program’s best record in over two decades under Head Coach Tyler Ryan in his fourth season. Following a 55-51 loss to Agape Christian (IL) on Feb. 18, the Eagles won games over Fulton City 68-64 and Dongola (IL) 68-57 to close out the season.

In last Thursday’s four-point win over Fulton City, Andrew Allen led CFS with 21 points on 7/15 from the floor. Andrew Dunning had a double-double 17 points and 10 rebounds. Joining Allen and Dunning in double figures, Ari Phillips had 14 points and Mikey Bivin scored 10. Fulton City was led by Brennen Walker with 23 points.

The season wrapped with a nice 68-57 win over Dongola, IL on Friday. Allen led with 20 points on 9/13 along with nine assists. Three more Eagles in double figures were Phillips with 18, Bivin with 16 and Drew Cary scored 12. Joey Thomas led Dongola with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
