Lyles and Jones lead Marshall County at McCracken County Invitational

Addison Lyles placed third and Walker Jones 14th to lead the Marshall County cross country teams at Saturday’s McCracken County Invitational.

Addison Lyles and Walker Jones posted the fastest times for the cross country teams at Saturday’s McCracken County Cross Country Invitational. Lyles finished third with a time of 19:58.47. Jones crossed in 14th place with a time of 18:30.63.

Results for the girls also included Ava Moore who finished 22nd in 24:46.46, Ava Sutherland was 23rd with a time of 24:55.43, Alyssa Parr was 38th in 28:15.71, Kourtney Willie took 44th in 30:02.47 and Addie Dogherty placed 46 with 30:57.44.

Fort Campbell seventh grader, Emmie Underwood, took another win finishing with a time of 19:43.33.

Results for the boys also included Daniel Walker who placed 14th in 19:27.37, Owen Futrell finished 36th in 19:45.18, Alex Abrams placed 73rd in 19:45.18, 22:45.56, Sam Martin finished in 78 with 22:57.93 and Kasey Wyatt was 89th with 24:02.56.

Brice Nelson of Webster County won the boy’s race with a time of 16:56.10.

The team will compete again on Saturday at the Mustang Stampede in Greenville.
