Elena Blevins with Benton Partnership and CADA (Calvert Area Development Association) joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Coming up Saturday, December 5 in Calvert City is the Christmas Bazaar with over 90 vendors at three locations. The Calvert City Civic Center, Lakeland Event Center and Altona Baptist Church. The bazaar runs from 9 to 4:30. Then at 6 that night is the Calvert City Lions Club Christmas Parade and the tree lighting at 7. And then the next Saturday, December 12, Elena says even though Benton won’t have a parade or Dickens’ Christmas this year, there will be a drive-thru event featuring fire trucks, Santa and his Elves and The Grinch.
