Sheriff’s office makes DUI, drug arrests, serves warrants

Marshall County Sheriff’s report: Nov. 28, 2017

Deputy Barry Howell at 12:56 p.m. Nov. 22 served a Marshall County warrant on Justin L. Freeman of Benton for Failure to Appear.

Deputy Barry Howell at 4:50 p.m. Nov. 21 charged Shirley Henderson of Benton with Operating on Suspended / Revoked License. He reports that Henderson came to the Judicial Building driving a motor vehicle and he knew her to be suspended. Deputy Howell was assisted by Deputy Mike Wyatt.

Sheriff Kevin Byars at 10:50 a.m. Nov. 22 served Rebecca C. Davilman of Benton on charges of Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree ( Three Counts ), Trafficking in Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Drug Paraphernalia. She is due to appear later this month in Circuit Court on the charges.

Maj. David Maddox at 2:15 p.m. Nov. 22 served a warrant on Mark Aldridge of Murray on charges of Promoting Contraband.

Deputy Dan Melone and Sgt. Jason Lane on Nov. 24 responded to Abraham Road in reference to a person passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle. Melone arrived and found the suspect in the vehicle passed out with the vehicle sitting in the road. The vehicle was in gear and the driver’s foot on the brake. When Melone announced himself, the driver took his foot off of the brake and rolled into a ditch. The driver was found to be intoxicated and had a joint behind his ear. A bag of marijuana was also found in the vehicle. Paul Stephen Kissiar of Benton was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under Influence ALC/Drugs/Etc .08 Aggravating Circumstances, Possession of Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Poss

Deputy William Strader at 11:35 a.m. Nov. 25 served an arrest warrant on Joshua E. Calhoun of Princeton on charges of Assault 4th Degree.

Capt. Brett Edwards on Nov. 24 served an arrest warrant on Alexander L. Evans of Calvert City. The charge was Receiving Stolen Property U/$500.

Sgt. Jason Lane and Deputy Chris Greenfield at 8:26 p.m. Nov. 24 served a warrant on Danny W. Durham of Benton. The warrant was for Failure to Appear.

Deputy Chris Greenfield on Nov. 24 was conducting an extra patrol through the parking area behind Hardee’s and Five Star in Draffenville. As a result several were charged. Zachary Meredith of Calvert City: Operating Motor Vehicle U/Influence ALC/Drugs/Etc .08 -1st Offense; Brittney Wages of Benton: Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering; A Calvert City Juvenile: Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage in Motor Vehicle, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Poss and Loitering.

Deputy William Strader at 10:46 a.m. Nov. 26 responded to an area church where it had been reported a man was there communicating with a person who has a EPO / DVO against him. Bryan D. Reeves of Murray was charged with Violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO.

Deputy Chris Greenfield and Deputy Luke Rudd on Nov. 25 responded to Starks Cemetery Road in reference to an out of control female. Heather Anne Booker of Hardin was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication Controlled Substance and Disorderly Conduct.
