Mr. Vernon Jerome Rowland, age 33 of Symsonia, KY passed away Saturday, April 16,
2016 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born Wednesday, October 13, 1982 in Hinesville, GA, he was the son of Vernon Rowland
of FL and Teresa (Peacock) Hutchins of Jacksonville, FL. He was a carpet technician
with Stanley Steamer in Paducah, KY. He was a member of New Beginnings Community
Church in Reidland, KY.
Surviving are his wife, Tashina (Morris) Rowland of Symsonia, KY; biological
parents, his mother, Phyllis Young of Paris, TN, one son, Jeremiah Rowland of
Symsonia, KY, four daughters, Destiny Rowland of Symsonia, KY, Cassie Melcher of
Symsonia, KY, Kendra Melcher of Symsonia, KY and Caitlyn Melcher of Symsonia, KY,
brothers, Wallace Rowland of Callahan, FL, John Rowland of Jacksonville, FL and
Andrew Joshua Hutchins of Chapel Hill, TN, James Daniel Hutchins of TN; sisters,
Elizabeth Diane Rowland of Jacksonville, FL and Melissa Hutchins of Mc Kenzie, TN.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel
of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. Cody Peevyhouse and Rev. Carey Morris
will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour, Thursday,
April 21, 2016, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
