LAND BETWEEN THE LAKES, KY/TN - Woodlands Nature Station will host Girl Scout Day<http://www.landbetweenthelakes.us/calendar/girl-scout-day/> on March 26, ongoing from 10am-3pm at Land Between The Lakes National [cid:image002.png@01D17533.387B4680] Recreation Area. Hands-on activities, live animal programs, scavenger hunts, hikes, and more will help Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes earn badge and journey requirements. Everyone is welcome. General admission covers all programs and activities: $5 ages 12 and up, $3 ages 5-12, free for ages 4 and under. Girl Scouts are welcome to come with their troop or individually with a parent, and are encouraged to bring a friend. Plan to spend at least 3 hours to complete all activities. Most activities will be outdoors. Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area manages more than 170,000 acres in western Kentucky and Tennessee as part of the U.S. Forest Service and the Department of Agriculture's public lands program. Woodlands Nature Station Presents Spring Break Week - Join in the fun and learning during area schools' Spring Break week. Programs for all ages will be offered daily at Woodlands Nature Station March 30 through April 10, as they present Kids Outdoor Days: Spring Break Week<http://www.landbetweenthelakes.us/calendar/nature-station-spring-break/2016-04-03/> at Land Between The Lakes. Programs offer family-friendly opportunities to get outdoors, have fun, and enjoy up-close encounters with animals. Some of the highlights include archery, outdoor survival skills, geocaching, and encounters with live snakes, owls, deer, and more. Nature Station is open 10am-5pm, Wednesday through Sunday during March and November, and 7 days a week April through October. "Come out and enjoy Nature Station's wildlife programs and outdoor activities," said Aviva Yasgur, Naturalist at the Nature Station. "These programs offer family outdoor adventure while providing valuable learning experiences." Purchase an LBL Fun Card this spring for discounted general admissions to our day-use facilities.
