CFS Eagles suffer overtime loss to Walden

BRIENSBURG – Christian Fellowship boy’s team lost to Walden Saturday 81-75 in an exciting overtime game. CFS led 12-8 after the first quarter then the two teams tied it up at 27 a piece at the halftime break.

The Eagles led by one going into the fourth quarter and were out-scoring by Walden by 19-18 in the final frame to send the game into overtime. Walden out-scored the Eagles by six in the overtime period for the win.

Eight Eagles scored in the game, led by Jordan Choate with 18 points. Mike Harris for Walden almost single-handedly won the game for them with 49 of their 81 points, hitting six from 3-point range.

The Eagles will meet Walden again on January 8th in Louisville in a 6:00 (EST) tip-off time.
