An all day Domestic Violence Conference will be held Saturday, April 20th from 8:30 am to 5 pm at the Paducah Convention Center. The event is put on by the Merryman House of Paducah, offering free services for those affected by domestic violence. Jayna Burkey and Megan Counce joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Burkey says 45% of women and one-third of men are victims of domestic violence. And Counce says this year’s conference is free with some excellent speakers. Even though it is free, you need to register by going to the Merryman House of Paducah Facebook page.
