Leo Folsom, 91, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 9:35 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 at his residence. He was born on March 15, 1932 in Iowa to the late Everett and Ruth Heath Folsom. Leo was a retired school teacher and coach from the Walled Lake Schools in Walled Lake, MI. He coached sports for 32 plus years and was inducted into the Michigan High School Football Hall of Fame. Leo received his Master’s degree from Michigan State University. He was a member of Amazing Grace Church, Paducah Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge when he lived in Michigan. Leo served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his two sons, K.C. Folsom of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Mickey (Kristy) Folsom of Berkley, Michigan; son-in-law, Keith Brewer of Paducah, Kentucky; sister, Gene Bonanno of California; six grandchildren, Zac, Max, Cal, Jake, Zoe and Leo; great grandchild, Thea and several nieces and nephews.

Leo was preceded in death by his wife, Sondra E. Nelson Folsom; daughter, Tami Brewer; great grandchild, Brinley; two sisters, Mary Lou Carrol and Wanda Mime and his parents.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Pastor Grace Pardun Alworth officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
