LYON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE MEDIA RELEASE

 

 

  • On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, around 7:55am, Sheriff Brent White arrested Pascual Sebastian-Lopez (22) of Nashville on a Lyon Circuit Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. Lopez was lodged in the Christian County Jail.

 

  • On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, around 7:51pm, Deputy David Carroll arrested Kaitlyn P. Robinson (23) of Metropolis, IL while in the LBL National Recreation Area. Robinson was the subject of a McCracken County bench warrant for failure to appear in a traffic case. In addition, Deputy Carroll tracked Robinson to LBL after an investigation into a theft at a Kuttawa business earlier in the week revealed she had stolen a credit/debit card of a co-worker. She was also charged with Theft-Receipt of Stolen Credit/Debit Card.

 

  • On Thursday, May 2, 2024, around 3:23pm, Deputy Lori Francis arrested Alexis L. Bourdon (27) of Eddyville, after she turned herself in to law enforcement, regarding a Webster District Court bench warrant for failure to appear on an assault case. Bourdon posted a $2,500.00 cash bond and was released from custody.

 

  • On Thursday, May 2, 2024, around 6:36am, Sheriff Brent White was dispatched to an attempted auto theft at a Kuttawa business on Days Inn Drive. Sheriff White arrived and found the female had fled on foot from the scene. She was arrested in the median of US 62 just East of the I-24 interchange. Following an investigation, the female was identified as Destinee A. Perez (29) of Hopkinsville. She was charged with Disorderly Conduct-2nd Degree, Attempted Theft by Unlawful Taking of an Auto-$1000-$10,000 in value, Theft by Unlawful Taking of Contents from Vehicle, Theft by Unlawful Taking-All Others, Public Intoxication, and Giving Officer False Identifying Information. Due to Perez’s level of intoxication, she had to be hospitalized rather than taken to a detention facility. She was released by a District Judge on a medical furlough.

 

  • On Thursday, May 2, 2024, SRO Deputy Cory Jessup charged a 15-year-old male student with Disorderly Conduct-2nd Degree after an investigation which began on April 17, 2024 involving a physical altercation which occurred on school property following a disagreement which stemmed from an off-campus event during spring break.

 

  • On Thursday, May 2, 2024, SRO Deputy Jason Young charged a 13-year-old male student with Harassment after the child approached a teacher and made comments to her about pulling out a gun. A search of the child and the school determined there was no gun on campus, and no threat to students or staff.

 

  • On Sunday, May 5, 2024, around 8:57pm, Deputy David Carroll responded to a single vehicle collision on KY 1943. The investigation revealed the driver was Faythe Hamilton (24) of Grand Rivers. Hamilton lost control of her vehicle before it rolled over on its side in a ditch. The driver was injured about her arms and legs. She was transported to Mercy Hospital in Paducah and hospitalized for her injuries. Deputy Carroll cited her to court for DUI-2nd Offense, Possession of Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia Possession.
