Christian Fellowship’s Lady Eagles volleyball team played five games on Saturday, Sept. 9 in the All “A” Classic and finished 3-2. Wins came over Hickman County 2-0 (25-22, 25-16), Fulton City 2-0 (25-20, 25-13) and Carlisle County 2-0 (25-7, 25-17). The two losses were to Ballard Memorial (20-25, 23-25) and Community Christian Academy (13-25, 18-25).
In the five games combined, Gracie Howard led in kills with 47 and had 34 digs. Lilian Griggs led in assists with 72 and had four aces. Elli Leclaire led in digs with 39. Rylee Hudson led in aces with 5.
CFS played another match at Ballard Memorial on Tuesday and lost 3-0 (25-23, 25-14, 25-20). Howard led in kills with 16 and digs with 15. Griggs led in assists with 17, had nine digs and two aces.
CFS has a record of 4-6 and will play a district game Thursday, Sept. 14 at Calloway County (6-3).
