LYON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE MEDIA RELEASE

 

 

  1. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Western KY Violent Crimes Task Force located and arrested Christopher L. Trice (45) in Kuttawa on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023, around 3:50pm.

 

Trice, who is originally from Fulton, was a wanted fugitive for a Bowling Green bank robbery which occurred on November 28th, 2022.

 

Trice was arrested following an investigation at two Kuttawa businesses involving suspicious persons complaints.

 

Multiple items of evidence pertaining to the bank robbery were seized as evidence, including the vehicle which is believed to have been used in the crime as well as other items believed to connect Trice to the robbery.

 

Trice was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.  The investigation is continuing by the Bowling Green Police Department and Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.  The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Eddyville Police Department.

 

  1. On Friday, February 3rd, 2023, just before 1pm, Chief Deputy Sam Adams arrested Theresa Givens (41) of Henderson on a Lyon District Court arrest warrant for being a Fugitive from Justice. Givens is wanted in Indiana on charges of burglary and theft/receiving felony offenses. She is lodged at the Ross-Cash Correctional Complex pending extradition proceedings.

 

  1. On Friday, February 3rd, 2023, at 1:15pm, Chief Deputy Sam Adams arrested Nytishia Younts (50) of Woodbine on a Knox County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant charging her with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument-2nd Degree and Persistent Felony Offender I. She remains lodged pending extradition back to Knox County.

 

  1. On Friday, February 3rd, 2023, around 6:30pm, Deputy David Carroll responded to a suspicious person complaint on KY 818 North near Dulaney Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Carroll located Molly E. Elliott (34) of Cadiz.  Elliott was a fugitive from arrest warrants in Caldwell and Marshall Counties.  Deputy Carroll charged her with Failure to Appear in court for both warrants.  She was later lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
