McCracken County Man Charged with Stolen vehicle and Drug Offenses

On 07/27/2022 a McCracken County Sheriff Deputy arrested a McCracken County Man on numerous offenses following a traffic stop.

Early Wednesday morning at approximatey 0054hrs McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Hartman conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Brown Street in Paducah after he observed the vehicle being operated carelessly. A check of the registration plate revealed that the truck had been reported stolen out of Livingston County.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as 66 year old Robert Roebuck of McCracken County. Deputy Hartman arrested Roebuck.

During the investigation Deputy Hartman conducted a search of Roebuck and located a flashlight inside his pants pocket. Hartman located two bags of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine concealed inside the flashlight. Additional illegal items were located inside the vehicle.

Roebuck was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Arrested: Robert H. Roebuck 66, of Lackey Street (McCracken County)

 

Charges: Careless driving, disregarding a stop sign, operating on suspended license, trafficking in Methamphetamine, and receiving stolen property-motor vehicle
