Two Arrested, One At Large, Jeremy T. Jones, 36 Following Pursuit

On Monday, January 24, 2022, at approximately 9:42 PM, McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputies were notified that Ballard County Sheriff’s Deputies were in pursuit of a 2020 Ford Explorer on KY286 and just crossed into McCracken County.

Ultimately, the operator, who was identified as Jeremy T. Jones, 36, of Paducah, exited the vehicle on Dundale Road while still in motion and fled on foot.  The backseat passenger, Martin Leyva, 28, of Paducah, then got into the driver’s seat and continued to flee for a few blocks before stopping. Leyva and the front seat passenger, Marvin A. Tucker, 37, of Paducah, were taken into custody without further incident.

The operator, Jones, was not located and it was determined he has numerous unrelated felony arrest warrants for Fleeing or Evading Police, Trafficking Marijuana, and other criminal offenses.  Additional charges on Jones are pending stemming from this incident.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Jones. 1) Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)

2) Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree

3) Reckless Driving
