City of Calvert City transitions website to .gov to improve authenticity
The City of Calvert City has transitioned its website to use the (.gov) domain to improve authenticity.
Using the (.gov) domain makes it easy for users to quickly identify official government services on the internet. Residents can now access information on services from all the City’s departments by visiting calvertcityky.gov.
The website isn’t the only change. All city officials and employees email addresses will change to the new domain as well. The other domains will remain active during the transition. Any questions or concerns about the transition can be answered at 270-395-7138 or at info@calvertcityky.gov.
“Changing the domain will help identify the city as an official government agency and reassure the public that the information and services the city provides are legitimate,” said John Ward, Calvert City’s city administrator.
