Mrs. Winthrop Elizabeth “Betsy” Thompson, age 64 of Paducah, KY died on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. She was a retired teacher for the Marshall County School System.
Born Saturday, July 14, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Boyce Clayton and the late Doris (Simon) Orr.
Surviving are son, Sean Michael Thompson of Louisville, KY, brother, Scott Heath Clayton of Suwanee, KY, sister, Annie Futrell, husband Jeff of Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael Alan Thompson, and son, Jon Matthew Thompson.
A private family graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2020 at Calvert City Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Crawley officiating.
No public visitation is scheduled.
