Mr. Jess G. Davis, 65 of Symsonia, KY passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020, at his home.
Born Saturday, December 4, 1954 in Graves Co., KY, he was the son of Jack Davis of Symsonia, KY and the late Vivian (Logeman) Davis. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 184 in Paducah, KY. He was also the owner and operator of the Bar X Mobile Home Park of Kuttawa, KY and also the Bar X Boat Storage, Kuttawa, KY. He was a member of Spring Creek Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Patti McManus Davis of Symsonia, KY; son, Larry Travis of Kuttawa, KY; daughter, Darlene Pool of Kuttawa, KY; brother, Ralph Davis of Symsonia, KY; sisters, Jacqueline Champion of Paducah, KY, Pauline Ivey of Mayfield, KY and Jenny Watson of Symsonia, KY; 4 grandchildren, Robin Palmer, Megan Radivonyk, Michael Travis and Matthew Travis; 5 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his mother, his first wife, Bonnie Davis; grandparents; Rock Davis, Pauline Dodds, Henry and Effie Logeman.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, September 7, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the Spring Creek Church of Christ Cemetery, 970 KY 1684 Hickory, KY. Tyler Temple will officiate, Interment will follow the service.
Friends may visit with the family after 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 7, 2020, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
