Marshall County’s Phoebe Ramsey signed on Tuesday to continue her soccer and track and field careers at Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. The Panthers play in the Heartland Conference.

Phoebe was a part of the three district and regional championships for the Lady Marshals soccer team and three regional championships for the Lady Marshals track and field team during her high school career.

She was a five-year member of the soccer team and was selected to the All-District team in 2023 and the All-Region second team in 2023 while recording nine shutouts in 23 games her senior season.  Phoebe’s shot stopping and ability to distribute the ball were key to the Lady Marshals stingy defense.

Phoebe was a four-year member of the track and field team. She took first in shot put in the 2024 Class 3A Region 1 meet throwing 36’10” which also broke a school record that has stood for over 40 years.  She has qualified for the state track meet the past two seasons in the shot put.

Phoebe is a true student athlete as she has maintained above a 4.0 grade point average and has been a servant leader for the Lady Marshals throughout her high school career.

Phoebe was joined by family members, coaches, teachers, the soccer and track teams and friends at her signing on Tuesday.
