Mr. Allan Hamlett, age 59 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at his home. He was a retired estimator for Triangle Enterprises and was a member of Pathway Baptist Church where he worked in the music and security department.
Surviving are his father, Gerald Hamlett, wife of 32 years, Gela (Barrett) Hamlett of Benton, KY, son, Austin Hamlett of Calvert City, KY, daughters, Emily Hamlett of Calvert City, KY and Chelsea Beyer of Calvert City, KY, grandson, Easton Beyer of Calvert City, KY, brother-in-law, Johnny Barrett of Fairdealing, KY, sisters-in-law, Jenny (Trandon) Sutherland of Symsonia, KY, Emily (Justin) Scott of Calvert City, KY, Kelly Hamlett Wesley of Chaple, FL, several nieces and nephews, father and mother-in-law, Gerald and Lindy Barrett of Calvert City, KY.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Margie Henson, Rollie and Tina Hamlett, mother, Reva Hamlett, brother, Neal Hamlett, granddaughter, Lyla Nell Dotson, mother-in-law, Beverly Barrett, and sister-in-law, Becky Barrett.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Pathway Baptist Church, Calvert City, KY with Rev. Mike Donald officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 on Sunday, March 15, 2020. An additional visitation will be held at Collier Funeral Home on Monday, March 16, 2020 until 10:00 a.m.
