Mrs. Donna Jean Rudolph, age 82 of Benton, KY passed away Monday, February 3, 2020, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.Born Sunday, January 30, 1938 in Marshall County, KY, she was a homemaker and in later years a caregiver for her husband, James Elmer Rudolph. She was a longtime member of the Union Ridge Baptist Church. Donna loved gospel music, this was her hobby and her passion. She would follow her husband, who was a song leader at Union Ridge Baptist Church for many years, as he traveled to surrounding churches and homecomings.
Donna is survived by one sisters, Lorene Tubbs of Benton, KY; four nephews, Jimmy (Janice) Tubbs, James Henson, Ronnie (Pat) Tubbs, and Quenice (Debbie) Tubbs; three nieces, Janice Aden, Carol Burkhart, and Sarah (Curry) Meece, great-nephews, Mitchel Hamlet, Brad Henson, Michael Henson; great nieces, Holli Jobe, Melissa Henson, Cheyenne Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Naud and Rena (Greer) Kirk; her beloved husband, James Elmer Rudolph; two brothers, Golden Kirk and James Richard Kirk (infant); two sisters, Lerlene Henson Coplen and Irene Koon; one nephew, Ricky Henson; and one niece, Peggy Wadsworth.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2020 at 1 pm in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY, Rev. George Culp and Rev. Jack Kee officiating.
Interment will follow the service in the Union Ridge Cemetery in Aurora, KY.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
