Christian Fellowship’s Lady Eagles have improved to 8-6 after winning the last two of three games, that began with a 11-10 loss to Murray on Thursday followed by back to back wins Monday and Tuesday, 5-1 over Livingston Central and 19-4 over Fulton City.
CFS and Murray combined for 29 hits, including four home runs, in Thursday’s game. Rachel Howard hit a grand slam in the first inning and a home run in the third inning to bring in six of the Lady Eagles 10 runs. Calli Carver led Murray with a home run in the fifth and three RBI’s and Emily Dawson hit a home run in the third inning. Livy Bogard got the win on the mound for Murray in seven innings, allowing 15 hits and 10 runs.

CFS scored a run in the fourth inning on a double by Ashley Kendall to lead Livingston Central 1-0 until a 4-run seventh inning put the game away in their 5-1 win on Monday. Those four runs came on singles by Edie Little, Renee Shields and Rachel Howard. Maddie Ortt earned the win in seven innings, allowing five hits, one run and stuck out six.

A 15-run third inning for the Lady Eagles earned them a 3-inning 19-4 win over Fulton City on Tuesday on five hits and 12 walks. Maddie Irvan led CFS hitters with two singles, two RBI’s, along with Rachel Howard with a single and two RBI’s and Emma Fletcher with a single and two RBI’s.
