DRAFFENVILLE – Leading 6-0 after 2 innings, the Marshals let one slip away when Livingston Central scored 6 runs in the final 2 innings to win 7-6 in Saturday’s Dreammaker Classic game.

An RBI double by Cody Clark and RBI single by Justice Beal gave the Marshals a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning, adding 4 more runs in the 2nd that began with a single by Justice Beal, single by Drake Anderson and Forsythe reaching on an error that plated Beal. Clark reached on an error that brought in Anderson, then 2 more runs came in on a single by Cameron Ives for a comfortable 6-0 lead.

Livingston scored 1 in the 5th, 3 runs in the 6th on errors and 3 more in the 7th on an RBI single by Seth Hosik, sacrifice fly by Matthew Gilland and the 7th run on a wild pitch.

Clark led the Marshals with a double and 2 RBIs, Ives a single and 2 RBIs and Justice Beal had 2 hits and an RBI.

The Marshals beat Graves County Friday 5-1 on 7 hits, led by Clark and Cameron Ives with doubles and RBI’s from Cole Griggs, Ives, Cole Austin and Jackson Beal. J.C. Goins got the win in 7 innings on the mound allowing 4 hits, 1 run and striking out 6.
