Charlotte Sue Vaughn, 73 of Gilbertsville, Kentucky passed away peacefully at her home at 1:11AM, Sunday, April 17, 2016.
Charlotte was a member of the Briensburg Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gentry Leon Vaughn of Gilbertsville, KY; four children, Heather Traub of Coila, MS; Gregory Vaughn of Lansing, MI; Wesley Vaughn of Clarkston, MI and Elizabeth McCown of Waynesboro, TN; twelve grandchildren, Jessica Wiggins, Jordan Traub, Gatlin Traub, Brad Noble, Benjamin Vaughn, Brianna Vaughn, Sara Claerr, Wesley Vaughn Jr., Hunter Vaughn, Katie LeBlanc, Zachary Ferstle and Gentry Ferstle; seven great grandchildren and one sister, Claudia Preston of San Antonio, FL.
Charlotte was preceded in death by one grandson, Bryan McCown and her parents, Charles Scott Isbell and Betty Jane Palmer Isbell.
Memorial services will be at 4:00PM on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Briensburg Church of Christ. Gary Knuckles and Jim Long will officiate. There will be a dinner served immediately following the memorial service in the Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the donor’s home church or the Briensburg Church of Christ to help sponsor a child attend a Christian Summer Camp.
