Track team recognizes seniors at final home meet

Before Tuesday’s home meet got underway, the Marshall County track and field program recognized 13 seniors along with their parents. The team will graduate a total of 16 seniors.

The Marshals took the win over second place Fulton County and third place Murray among a field of 13 teams. The Lady Marshals placed second behind first place Murray and third place went to University Heights in a field of 11 teams.

The boy’s team recorded four first place finishes in the meet which included Christian Cosner in the 3200 meters, Caleb Pahl took the pole vault win and the 4 x 200 and 4 x 800 relay teams. The girl’s team had three first place finishes starting with Tori Ford who was a double winner in the 200 and 400 meters and Sydney Temple took the win in the pole vault.
