The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Metropolis man on
drug charges following a drug investigation on Tuesday afternoon in
McCracken County.
On 01/30/2024 the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office received
information that 48-year-old Walter “Allen” Raley of Metropolis, IL
was traveling to a business located at 6730 Cario Road in McCracken
County to sell several doses of Hydrocodone. Detectives located and
stopped Raley on the parking lot of the business Tuesday afternoon
just after 3pm. Raley was found to be in possession of 25 doses of
Hydrocodone.
Raley was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
