Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On July 23rd, 2023, at approximately 02:36am, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Clarks River Rd. The vehicle was a 2004 Dodge pickup truck.

During the investigation, it was discovered that the operator, 47-year-old Charles E. Meeks of Paducah, Ky, was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine and other items related to Drug Paraphernalia.

Charles E. Meeks was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail where he was lodged.
