Kentucky State Police Arrests 2 Washington Men on Felony Drug Trafficking Charges

NEWS RELEASE

KUTTAWA, Ky. (September 13, 2022) – Just before 11:00am CT, Troopers with Kentucky State Police, Post 1 observed a silver 2021 Subaru Impreza traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 24 in Livingston County. Troopers stopped the vehicle in Lyon County for the speeding violation.

After being granted consent to search the vehicle, Troopers located approximately one pound of cocaine, a 9mm pistol, and a large amount of US currency. The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested on felony drug trafficking charges and lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.

Pedro Samario Irias Lopez, 25 years old of Shoreline, Washington was charged with Enhanced Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offence (> or = 4 grams Cocaine), Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Ever Jasiel Lopez Escoto, 31 years old of Shoreline, Washington was charged with Complicity to Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offence (> or = 4 grams Cocaine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
