Marshals 6th in BGIT, win match over St. Mary and Massac in Paducah

Saturday at Bowling Green Country Club, the Marshals finished sixth with a team score of 318 (+30) out of 20 teams competing in The Danny Spillman BGIT. The teams from Madison Central and Christian Academy (Louisville) tied for first at 302 (+14).

Taylor County’s Luke Coyle was the tournament medalist with a 4-under par 68. Trey Wall led the Marshals with a 3-over par 75 to finish tied for eighth. Ryan Stokes shot 79 to finish T24, Camdyn McLeod and David Jack Morris both shot 82 and Hayden Powell 90.

Tuesday at Paducah Country Club, the Marshals played a match against St. Mary and Massac County, taking the win with a score of 156. Marshall County scores; Trey Wall 36, Hayden Powell 39, Ryan Stokes 39, Camdyn McLeod 42, David Jack Morris 45 and Gunner Hoover 46.

The team will head to Lexington to play in the KGCA All State Championship at the UK Club course on Saturday and Sunday.
