(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.) — Marshall County High School senior Andrew Kimbro has signed to continue his academic and athletic career at Asbury University, where he will compete on the Eagles’ golf team.
Kimbro spent four years on the Marshals’ golf team, contributing to what has been a winning tradition at Marshall County. His strongest performances this past season came at the Ballard Memorial tournament, Trigg County, and the Marshall County Invitational, where he posted his lowest rounds of the year.
Beyond his play on the course, Kimbro has made an impression on those around him through his character. He is widely recognized among teammates and classmates for his kindness and encouragement — qualities that defined his time as a Marshal as much as his golf game.
“Being part of the MCHS golf team has taught me how to work with a team, grow, and build up others,” Kimbro said.
At Asbury University, the incoming freshman plans to major in Finance with a minor in Biblical Theology.
