Richard Marshall Cook, 94, of Paducah, formerly of Downers Grove, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Richard was born on February 27, 1927 in Rand, West Virginia to the late Custus Davis and John Marshall Cook. He enjoyed photography and traveling anywhere in the world he could go. He was of the Baptist faith.
Richard is survived by one daughter, Terrie Cook of Paducah; two sons, Jeffrey Cook and wife, Darla, of Paducah, John K. Cook of West Paducah; one granddaughter, Kisha Cook of Paducah and one great-granddaughter, Kaiden Rodgers.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Winaka Knopp and Veronica Lamond; one brother, John Ralph Cook, and his parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Entombment will follow visitation at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
