Milling & Spot Paving along KY 58 in Western Marshall County Today

PADUCAH, KY (Dec. 14, 2020) A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans milling and spot-paving along KY 58 in western Marshall County today, Monday, December 14, 2020.

Motorist should be alert for milling and paving operations along an 8-mile section of KY 58 west of Benton between mile point 8.202 at the U.S. 641-Spur intersection and the 0.0 mile marker at the Marshall-Graves County Line.

Spot-paving will include repairs to areas of deteriorated pavement, intersections, bridge end connections, and other maintenance patching work.

As part of this project the contractor will also be paving a right-hand turn lane from U.S. 641-Spur onto KY 58 East.

Motorists should be alert for one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Some work along this section of KY 58 could carry over into Tuesday.
