Everett Brown, 90

Everett Brown, 90, of Gilbertsville, KY passed away at 8:57 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at his residence.

Everett was born in Drakesboro, KY on November 20, 1929 to the late Everett and Bennie Baugh Brown. Everett worked as a maintenance mechanic for Firestone. He was a member of Twin Lakes Worship Center, and the Masonic Lodge of Huntington Park, CA. Everett loved music, especially country western music. He enjoyed playing the guitar along with many other instruments, and also enjoyed fishing. He’ll be remembered for his great sense of humor, that he loved sharing with his kids and grand-children.

He is survived by two daughters, Joy Annette Gotcher of Nashville, TN, and Cheryl Lynn Runion of Gilbertsville, KY; nine grandchildren, Christopher Scott Copeland of Cerro Gordo, IL, Jason Shawn Copeland of Cape Coral, FL, Christopher David Gotcher of Singapore, Michelle Martin of California, Sarah Lindsay Dyer of Georgetown, TX, Rebecca Jeanine McIntire of Fate, TX, Geral Steven Runion III of Crawfordsville, FL, Emily Lin Gotcher of Nashville, TN, and Matthew David Gotcher of Lewisburg, TN; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly W. Pryor Brown; one sister, Anna Geraldine Baugh; two brothers, Oran Herald Brown and Boyd Pete Brown; one great grandchild; and his parents.

There are no services scheduled for Everett.
