Paving along KY 723/Pinckneyville Road runs from milepoint 0.0 at the End of State Maintenance near Haynes Park Road and the Pickneyville boat ramp extending northward to US 60 in Salem at milepoint 5.567.
This work zone is expected to be active during daylight hours Thursday and Friday.
Motorists should be prepared to encounter one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Jim Smith Contracting of Grand Rivers is the prime contractor on this $515,374 highway improvement project. Work along this section of KY 723/Pinckneyville Road south of Salem is expected to be completed in about a week, weather permitting.
