Missi Krawetzki Castleberry, 73, of Benton, KY, and formerly of Castalia, died Wednesday, May 15, at her residence.She was born August 18, 1945, in Sandusky, and was a 1963 graduate of Margaretta High School. She was employed for 35 years at the Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benton. She was a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church in Hardin, KY.
Missi is survived by one sister Sherri (Barry) Brunner, two brothers Carl (Diana) Krawetzki and Charles (Debbie) Krawetzki all of Castalia; sisters-in-law Muriel Krawetzki and -JoAnne Krawetzki; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and former husband James Castleberry.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Mary (Geiger) Krawetzki, her 1st husband Donald Schippel, and her nephew and godson Ben Brunner.
Friends may call from 9am Wednesday, May 22, until time of Mass at 10am in the St. Henry Catholic Church, 16097 U.S. Highway 68E, Hardin, KY. The Rev. Greg Trawick will officiate. At Missi’s request, cremation has taken place.
