Northbound Rolling Road Block for Power Line Replacement on I-69 near 80mm at Princeton in Caldwell County on Monday, August 13th

Traffic ADVISORY

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has issued a permit for a rolling road block to slow and halt traffic along Interstate 69 in CALDWELL County on Monday, August 13th.

Kentucky State Police, Caldwell County Sherriff, and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet personnel will assist with a rolling road block for northbound traffic on I-69 near the 80 mile marker on Wedensday morning.   Northbound traffic will be slowed to allow the Princeton Electric Plant Boad to replace a power line near the I-69/KY 91 Exit 80 Princeton interchange.

Police will start a rolling road block to slow northbound traffic on I-69 starting around the US 62 Eddyville-Princeton Exit.   The resulting gap in traffic will be used to allow the power line to be placed across the roadway.

This rolling road block and traffic stoppage is expected to start at approximately 10 a.m., CDT, on Wednesday, and last about 10 to 15 minutes.
Motorists should be alert for police and slowed traffic along I-69 near the 80 mile marker. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
