Mrs. Linda “Sue” Scott, age 89 of Mayfield, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017, at the home of her sister in Symsonia.
Born Sunday, February 19, 1928 in Graves County, she was the daughter of the late K Reed and the late Lala Reed. She was the wife of the late Marvin Scott.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church. She was an avid University of Kentucky basket ball fan.
Surviving are sister, Betty McManus of Symsonia. Seven nieces, nephews and their families also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Elmo Reed, Glen Reed and J.W. Reed; and nephew, Tommy J. Reed.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 24, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. Richard Dowdy will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the James P. Smith Cemetery in Benton.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St. in Benton.
