On Friday July 15th Sgt. Jason Lane received a call from dispatch in reference to a possible intoxicated driver on US 68 E. Sgt. Lane observed the described vehicle parked behind Majestic Steakhouse and there was a male subject behind the wheel. There was an open beer in the center console that was still cool. The field sobriety test was given in which there were indicators present for being under the influence. Brian R. Adent 26, of Benton, was arrested and charged with Operating A Motor Vehicle Under the Influence and Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in Motor Vehicle.
