Mayfield, Ky. (September 21, 2023) – A Mayfield Man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after a Graves County grand jury indicted him for multiple sexual offenses. In early August, Kentucky State Police received reports from multiple individuals accusing Paul West, 53 of Mayfield, of sexually abusing them when they where children.
State Police investigators initiated an investigation into the allegations and on Tuesday, September 19th, testified before a Graves County grand jury. The grand jury handed down multiple indictments to include two (2) counts of Unlawful Transaction with a Minor 1st Degree and five (5) counts of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree (victim under 12 years of age). Each of those offenses are felonies. West was also indicted on two misdemeanor counts of Voyeurism.
West was arrested at his home on Wednesday afternoon and lodged in the Graves County Jail where he posted bond soon after. The investigation continues by Kentucky State Police.
