Calvert City Pickleball players went to Marion, Illinois to participate in the Halloween Havoc October 22-23.  It was a beautiful weekend for a tournament except for wind speeds over 20 mph.  Some events weren’t over until after dark. With 95 entries over two days on six dedicated courts, 21 players from far Western Kentucky clubs brought home 16 medals, 10 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze medals.

Sam Gold and Mitchell Ponder had a 3-way tie for Gold ending up with Bronze. Several newer players have decided to step into the competition phase of Pickleball, entering tournaments and are bringing home the hardware.
