Kobey Yates, a freshman at Marshall County High School, competed as an unattached runner in the varsity boy’s division at the St. Mary Cross Country Invitational this past Saturday. Kobey ran a personal best 5k time of 16:21.81 in route to a 45 second win.Kobey will race again this Saturday in Bardstown, Ky. at Thomas Nelson High School in the Hillbilly Invitational.
