Christian Fellowship improves to 16-9, most wins in program history

Christian Fellowship beat Community Christian on Friday, 54-23, to earn their 16th win of the season, the most in program history. They lost 58-55 on Saturday to Livingston Central and will take a 16-9 record into their final regular season game on Tuesday at Hickman County. The Lady Eagles beat the Lady Falcons back on Dec. 20 by one point, 51-50, in the CCA Christmas Tournament.

Gracie Howard led in scoring in both games. The sophomore had 19 points in the win over CCA and 29 against Livingston Central. Howard ranks 18th in the state among scoring leaders with an average of 20.8 per game.

Since 2005, CCA won 14 straight over CFS until Dec. 2018 when the Lady Eagles picked up their first-ever win over the Lady Warriors. Since that time, CFS has won the last 8-of-10 games including the current streak of six.

Lilly Burnett picked up her 13th double-double of the season in the game against Livingston Central with 15 points and 15 rebounds. She ranks 27th in the state with an average of 10.1 rebounds per game. As a team, CFS ranks 15th in the state with an average of 35.8 per game.
