Blair Travis, the director of marketing, communications and business development in Calvert City joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. This year Calvert City will be celebrating it’s sesquicentennial, 150 years of incorporation. Lots of special events are planned for July 2, 3 and 4 in Calvert City, including a bluegrass concert from Rhonda Vincent and the Rage. Other events will include arts and crafts, petting zoo, inflatables and even a beard contest. Travis says they are putting together a mini-documentary and she wants you to send her old photos, videos and old relics.
