Carolyn Ann Langston Braswell, age 63, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
Carolyn was born on September 15, 1956 in Benton, KY. She was retired from the Division of Forestry with the City of Hopkinsville Sanitation.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 22 years, Michael Joseph Braswell of Hopkinsville; two daughters, Tammy Browne of Hopkinsville and Lisa Schutt and husband, Clarence of Mayfield; one son, Joseph Braswell and wife, Kelly of Hopkinsville; two brothers, Harold Langston of Mayfield and Terry Langston of Benton; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chancie P. Langston and Mamie Rose Frizzell Langston; one son, Timothy Burton and one grandson, Anthony Burton.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Maplewood Cemetery in Mayfield with Rev. Joe Buffer officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
