Mrs. Paula Faye Kirby, age 76 of Calvert City, KY passed away Friday, December 20, 2019, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer.
Born Wednesday, November 17, 1943 in Fulton, KY. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Campbell and the late Irene (Todd) Campbell Goodwin and stepfather, the late Robert Goodwin.
After moving to Calvert City, she began a career in banking. She was first employed at the Calvert Bank in Calvert City, KY. She retired from banking after many years of service as a Personal Banker with Heritage Bank in Calvert City, KY. She was an active part of her community, she was a CADA member and also a member of the Marshall County Fair Board. She was also active in her church, the Calvert City United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Joey (Renee) Griffith of Paducah, KY, Tony (Pam) Griffith of Benton, KY; two daughters, Teresa (Charles) Arnold of Jackson, TN, Rhonda (Mike) Grimmitt of Columbus, KY; two brothers, Ray Campbell of Foly, AL, Johnny Campbell of South Fulton, TN; eight grandchildren, Jourdan Griffith of Benton, KY, Travis Griffith of Benton, KY, Austin Griffith of Paducah, KY, Crystal Moore of Jackson, TN, Keri Williamson of Robertsdale, AL, Brad Arnold of Medina,TN, Duane Grimmitt of Clinton, KY, Jeremy Grimmitt of Clinton, KY, Justin Grimmitt of Paducah, KY; and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, her mother and step-father and husband, Ronald Kirby.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. Ryan Heatherly will officiate.
Interment will follow the service in the Obion County Memorial Gardens, 3939 Ken-Tenn Hwy, Union City, TN 38261.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019, and after 8:00 a.m. on Saturday until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m. at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
