Annie Nance, 88

Mrs. Annie Nance, 88, of Murray passed away peacefully Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Nance was born in Calloway County on October 29, 1931 to Hollin and Maymie Paschall Jones. She worked many years for Peoples Bank in Murray and later retired from it’s successor, BB&T. Mrs. Nance was a long time member of First Baptist Church, as well as children’s Sunday school teacher and choir member.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Nance; a sister, Bobbie Burkeen and a nephew, Graves Burkeen.

Those left to cherish her memory include several cousins and special friends.

The funeral service for Mrs. Nance is set for 11 AM on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, 311 North 4th Street, downtown Murray. Mark Allan Vinson, Dr. Greg Earwood, Keith Inman and Boyd Smith will officiate and burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Jon Riley, Hugh Paschall, David Grayson, Scott Lowe, Steve White and Joey Todd. Honorary Pallbearers are Don Herndon, Tillman Paschall, Charles Paschall, Clegg Austin, Billy Cox, Harold Doran, Jr., Frank Doran, Eddie Morris, Dr. Ken Winters and Robbie Rudolph.

Her family will receive visitors from 4-7 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the funeral home.
