Mr. Carl E. Samuelson, age 77, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at his residence.
He was a member and former Elder of First Presbyterian Church, a member of Model A Restorers Club of West KY and a retired employee of General Tire. He was a former member of River Tin Street Rods, a former member of Mayfield Graves County Library Board, a former member of Habitat for Humanity and a former chairman of the Graves County Republican Party.
Mr. Samuelson is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patty Erwin Samuelson; one son, Michael (Heidi) Samuelson of Lakeland, TN; two daughters, Karla (Bill) Loser of St. Charles, MO and Kari (David) Chapman of Denver, CO; two brothers, David Samuelson of Abilene, TX and Rodney Samuelson of Eustis, FL; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ivar Lee Samuelson; one sister, Lou Reynolds; and his parents, Ivar and Opal Attaway Samuelson.
Memorial services for Mr. Carl E. Samuelson will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Jon Faraone and Rev. Lynn Shurley will officiate.
Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
